Guided Walk: Cnicht

 

Known as the 'Matterhorn of Wales' for it's appearance, Cnicht is a moderate graed walk giving a more isolated and remote taste of Snowdonia – a mountain not to be missed.

Cnicht looks impressive from the valley as we begin our ascent and involves a middle scramble to reach it's summit giving breath-taking views of the dramatic drop down the vallley of Cwm Croesor and across to the huge Moelwyn Mawr.

This walk takes between 4-5 hours to complete and although hill-walking experience is not necessary, a good level of general fitness is recommended.

We provide day walking tours to the top of Cnicht throughout the year according to demand, with the following days earmarked for the activity.
