Guided Walk: Snowdon
Standing at 1085m Snowdon, or Yr Wyddfa as it is known in Welsh is the highest mountain in England and Wales. This walk is a fantastic day out taking in the spectacular scenery of the welsh mountains of Snowdonia and a great achievement to reach the summit of the mountain.
The route will depend upon group ability and prevailing weather conditions. Typically we start to walk at Pen-y-Pass and ascend the mountain via the Pyg Track making our way to the summit and then descend down the Miner’s track back to Pen-y-Pass.
We will travel at a pace comfortable to the group and this walk will take us between 4 - 6 hours to complete.
This walk is graded as moderate and although no hill walking experience is necessary a good general level of fitness is recommended.
We provide day walking tours to the top of Snowdon throughout the year according to demand, with the following days earmarked for the activity.
