We are based in the Snowdonia National Park, so if you are planning a holiday in this area we are ideally placed to help you get the most from your valuable holiday time.  Great Adventures UK Ltd is a  family run company and we are keen to make sure your experience with us is truly memorable.  We cover a wide range of outdoor activities both here in Wales, elsewhere in the UK and abroad.

We can help you to arrange accomodation and we will provide an activity programme that suits you or your family's aspirations; even at the last minute (if your decision to take a break is weather dependent). Book in advance if you can though, especially during the summer months when demand is high.

We are fully insured to provide the activities we have on offer. Our guides and instructors are all qualified under nationally and internationally recognised schemes - which include first aid training.  They are friendly, highly experienced people who not only have great depths of knowledge in their field, but also have a real passion for what they do. We also carry an AALA licence (Adventure Activity Licencing Authority) granted under the auspices of the HSE which means that we are recognised as providers of adventure activities to people under the age of 18.

The Company was set up by Peter Cooper, whose love for the mountains and outdoor environment led him to want to share the fantastic experiences which he has had with others. Originally set up as a walking and climbing business, Great Adventures UK Ltd. has expanded its activities to offer canoeing, coasteering, canyoning, mountain skills courses and overseas expeditions.

As a company, Great Adventures UK Ltd. is dedicated to caring for the environment in which we live. We believe that the great outdoors is a precious resource and all of our outdoor pursuits have a minimum impact upon this beautiful natural environment.
